WHY EXETER KITCHEN STORE?
These customers came to us after being recommended by a friend. They were looking for a industrial-style yet minimalist kitchen that was easy to clean had built-in storage and could be a social space. In preparation, they had made the opening between the dining room and kitchen larger. Designer, Jack Woodcock then extended the kitchen into the dining area by creating a large bar unit around the TV. The two rooms now feel like one.
THE PROCESS
The customers met Jack and together they set about designing their dream kitchen. They opted for matt concrete effect worktops that pair well with our Remo, J-handle, Silver Grey kitchen cabinet doors. Clever material choices like the dark anthracite composite sink means their kitchen will look brand new for years to come whilst also being easy to clean.
The kitchen has been designed with features that suit the client’s lifestyle such as an extra-wide induction hob with additional cooking zones. The corner unit features a useful wire mechanism that maximises space and allows easy access. Appliances have been built-in and cleverly hidden, such as the washing machine and the extractor hood which is neatly concealed within a wall unit. The seamlessly integrated microwave and single oven are ergonomic, with clean lines offering a fantastic contemporary feel.
FAVOURITE PART OF THE KITCHEN
The customer loves the cabinets that perfectly frame their TV in the centre. This cleverly designed unit houses their fridge freezer and extra storage whilst also providing a sleek bar. It’s a great space to entertain friends and family!
The customer was looking to create a multi-purpose storage area that combined the kitchen and the dining room. This has been achieved by impactfully framing the TV whilst also cleverly concealing appliances and storage. Behind the grey kitchen cabinets, you’ll find a fridge freezer, a spacious larder unit and lots of room for a spectacular wine and gin collection!
The bar and entertainment area is the client’s favourite part of the kitchen. It’s the perfect social space for family and friends to gather.
